The church is starting another gift card (scrip) program which will add money to our treasury at no cost
to members. In the Great Lakes Scrip program, church members and friends purchase gift cards at face value
and the church receives a percentage of the cards’ value, sometimes as much as 15%.
A large variety of stores participate in Great Lakes Scrip, including Borders and Amazon.com; Home Depot
and Lowe’s; Starbucks; restaurants including Panera Bread, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Quiznos, and many
pizza chains; Circuit City; Toys R Us; Office Max and Staples, Blockbuster; Sears and K-Mart; Payless
Shoes; Pier One Imports and Bed, Bath and Beyond; sporting goods stores including Dicks and Gander
Mountain; L.L. Bean and Lands End; drug stores including CVS Pharmacy; gas stations and hotels. For

To order Great Lakes scrip, complete the order form (click here to download) and give it to Camille or Robin Chute.
Orders will be placed on a regular schedule with cards available at church the next Sunday.
The local grocery scrip program will continue with Martin’s/Giant, Food Lion, and Weis gift cards
available after church on the first and third Sundays (and other Sundays by chance if Robin Chute
or Howard Ruskie are at church).
